Hostels in China are run by individuals and family or by some companies. However, most of them joined Youth Hostel Association or Hostel international. In China, there are two major youth hostel organization. One is China YHA, and the other is YHA China.
China YHA is in Beijing, and it has an official web site in China as www.chinayha.com.
YHA China is in Guangzhou.
However, they are two hostel organization though. They don't have significant influence to tourists except booking systems or membership etc..
As a budget traveler, we only care about hostel price, service, and finding more friends who like to explore the world.
